I came across a great worksheet this weekend compiled by my friend Jan Haag. It lists some of Pat Schneider's suggestions for a disciplined writing life.

"Make writing time a reward, not a chore. Pat believes that true discipline is a matter of love rather than duty. If you are in love, you make time and space for the beloved. So, be in love with your writing and you'll think of it as a longed-for pleasure. If you are an artist, you have a vocation. Go to your writing because it's essential to your happiness."
