YouTube rabbit hole

I want to go to one of those medical weight loss doctor places where they give you injections that mimic a gastric bypass. I’ve been watching this Youtube lady who breaks down all of the plastic surgeries that celebrities have to kind of prove that people look that awesome because they’re getting a little surgical intervention-style assistance.

Then, I watched a whole bunch of videos on gastric surgeries and it’s kind of barbaric. It said most people have to take two medications afterward for a year to life. (Side note, a year to life, what kind of range is that?)

They have to take one for reflux and I forget what the other is for, maybe the gallbladder? One doctor said you aren’t supposed to drink within thirty minutes of eating and there are tons of foods you can’t even eat anymore.

It would be awesome to be skinny but it would be sucky to make a decision at forty or fifty that changes your life for the next half of your life, changes how and what you eat forever. Actually, maybe that would be good, but it doesn’t actually guarantee that you’ll get or stay thin. That part doesn’t seem fair.
